About these pages
Tyrannosaurus rex in all kinds of moods: roaring under the clouds, sitting in the grass, holding a bouquet of flowers, running after a butterfly and carrying two party balloons. A baby T-Rex steps out of a cracked egg, a kawaii baby waves both arms and a big T-Rex head shows off a toothy grin. Two pages give the dinosaur a name, Sammy and Gene, and Gene stands under the moon.
There are also two "Design your own" pages, one plain and one spotted, where children add their own patterns and colours. 5 of the 15 pages are easy, with thick outlines for ages two to four, and 9 are for ages four to eight. Older kids can try the patterned T-Rex walking among ferns. For more prehistoric animals, see the dinosaur pages, or try the dragon pages.
Each design is its own page with a Letter and an A4 PDF, a description, and related pages, so you can print one sheet or a whole set.

Which T-Rex pages are easiest?
Use the "Easy" filter for the 5 easy pages. They have one dinosaur, thick outlines and large spaces, which suit small hands and chunky crayons.

Nobody knows for sure, because skin colour is rarely preserved in fossils. Artists often use greens and browns for camouflage, so children can choose any colours they like, from grey to purple with spots.

Tyrannosaurus rex grew to about 12 metres long and lived around 66 to 68 million years ago in what is now North America. Its arms were tiny, but some of its teeth were as long as a banana.
