All topics →Questions
Is colouring online free?
Yes. Every one of the 3,785 pages can be coloured online for free, with no account and no sign-up. Open any page and press Color it online.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. It runs in the web browser on phones, tablets such as iPad and Android tablets, Chromebooks and computers. Tap a shape to fill it, and pinch with two fingers to zoom into small areas.
Where are my colourings saved?
On your own device, in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Find them again under My colourings. Clearing your browser data, or using a private window, removes them, so save the picture if you want to keep it.
Can I save or print my coloured picture?
Yes. Save picture downloads a PNG, with your name and the date if you like. Print sends it to your printer, and you can turn it into a greeting card, bookmarks or a Colouring Star certificate.
Is there colour by number?
Yes. Switch to By number on any page with shapes big enough for numbers. Touching shapes always get different colours, and each number disappears when you colour it right.
Can teachers use it in class?
Yes. In By number, Teach this page shows one colour at a time on the whiteboard ("Colour every 2 orange"), with Show me to demonstrate, and Print worksheet makes a matching colour-by-number sheet for each child.
My colourings shows everything you have coloured on this device.
