About these pages
Every page here is drawn for ages two to four, with very thick outlines, big open spaces and one main subject. There are round cat faces and fluffy kittens, puppies, baby unicorns on clouds, a hippo surrounded by hearts, a smiling snail, baby dinosaurs and a frog prince in a golden crown. Fruit pages with bold capital labels, such as an apple, a strawberry and a watermelon wedge, double as first word cards, star faces show feelings from happy to sleepy, and "What am I?" pages ask children to guess the animal first.
All 527 pages are easy, so start with a subject your child already loves and let them choose the colours. A few minutes is a good first session at this age. Chunky crayons or thick washable markers are easiest for small hands, and taping the page to the table stops it sliding. When they are ready for a little more detail, try the coloring pages for kids or the alphabet pages.
Each design is its own page with a Letter and an A4 PDF, a description, and related pages, so you can print one sheet or a whole set.
Questions
What makes a coloring page easy?
Thick, bold outlines, large spaces and one main picture with little or no background. Toddlers colour with big arm movements, so wide shapes let them stay roughly inside the lines and feel they have finished.
What age can toddlers start colouring?
Many children start scribbling with a crayon at around 15 to 18 months. By two, most can enjoy a simple page like these, especially with chunky crayons that are easy to grip and hard to snap.
How does colouring help preschoolers learn?
It builds the hand strength and grip needed for writing later, and it is a natural time to name colours, shapes and animals. The fruit pages with capital letters also introduce first letters and words.
Can I print on A4 paper?
Yes. Every page has a Letter and an A4 version. Pick the one that matches your printer.
