About these pages
Santa at home and on the job: waving with candy canes, relaxing in an armchair, packing gifts into his sack, holding his long list, working at his toy workbench and giving a reindeer a carrot. There is a kawaii Santa with a fluffy beard and a portrait with a patterned beard, plus a floppy Santa hat on its own and animals in Santa hats: a striped kitten, a reindeer, a baby penguin and a puppy beside a stocking.
5 of the 15 pages are easy, with thick lines for ages two to four, 8 are for ages four to eight, and 2 detailed pages suit older kids. A snowman in a Santa hat holding a present rounds things off. They make good place mats for a Christmas table and a quiet activity in the busy run-up to the holidays. For more, see the Christmas pages, the reindeer pages and the Christmas tree pages.
Each design is its own page with a Letter and an A4 PDF, a description, and related pages, so you can print one sheet or a whole set.
Questions
Which Santa pages suit toddlers?
Use the "Easy" filter for the 5 pages with large shapes and thick outlines, such as the striped kitten in a Santa hat. A red and a white crayon are enough to start.
How do I colour Santa's beard?
Leave the beard and fur trim white and add a little light grey or pale blue at the edges to give them shape. Use a bright red for the suit and hat, and black for the belt and boots.
Where does the idea of Santa come from?
Santa Claus grew from stories of Saint Nicholas, a bishop in what is now Turkey who was known for secret gift-giving. His Dutch name, Sinterklaas, became Santa Claus in English.
Can I print on A4 paper?
Yes. Every page has a Letter and an A4 version. Pick the one that matches your printer.
