About these pages
Cats and kittens in every mood: a striped tabby kitten sitting up, a kitten yawning with its mouth wide open, five cats sleeping and sitting, a cat in a raincoat holding a fish, a kitten peeking over a teacup and a cat dreaming of donuts and cake. Seasonal pages add a kitten in a Santa hat, a cat hugging a Christmas tree, a kawaii kitten sitting inside a pumpkin and a cat beside a little witch stirring her cauldron.
There are 17 easy pages, mostly round cat faces and bold side-on cats with thick outlines for ages two to four, and 21 pages for ages four to eight. The 6 detailed pages include a cat filled with swirl patterns and fine-line sketches of a cat lying down and a tabby stalking forward, which suit older kids and adults. For more pets, see the dog and puppy pages, or find more round, big-eyed animals in the cute pages.
Each design is its own page with a Letter and an A4 PDF, a description, and related pages, so you can print one sheet or a whole set.
Questions
Which cat pages are easiest for toddlers?
Use the "Easy" filter above. The 17 easy pages show a single round cat face or a side-on cat with extra-thick lines, which small children can fill with a chunky crayon.
How do I colour a tabby cat?
Start with a light layer of orange, grey or brown over the whole cat, then go over the stripes in a darker shade of the same colour. Leave a small white spot in each eye so it looks shiny.
Why are so many cats shown sleeping?
Because cats really do sleep a lot, usually around 12 to 16 hours a day. That is why several pages show cats napping, curled up on a cushion or stretching after a rest.
Can I print on A4 paper?
Yes. Every page has a Letter and an A4 version. Pick the one that matches your printer.
