92 free printable pages, gathered from themes across the site. Every page downloads as a crisp PDF in Letter or A4. Updated October 8, 2026.
About these pages
Birds from the garden, farm and further afield: owls on branches, a flamingo standing on one leg, a peacock with its tail fanned, a parrot on a perch, a robin on a holly branch, a cardinal on a bare branch, a hummingbird sipping from marigolds and a bald eagle soaring above a flag. Farm birds include a hen with her chick, a duck and duckling by a windmill and a swan with ducklings. There are also colour-by-number birds and big letter pages for D, H and P.
22 of the 92 pages are easy, with a single round bird and thick lines for ages two to four, 51 are for ages four to eight, and 19 are detailed, such as a goddess in a peacock crown and a bald eagle portrait with layered feathers. For a page of nothing but owls, see the owl pages; for more farmyard birds, try the farm animal pages.
Each design is its own page with a Letter and an A4 PDF, a description, and related pages, so you can print one sheet or a whole set.
Questions
Which bird pages suit toddlers?
Use the "Easy" filter for the 22 easy pages, such as a fluffy parrot with huge eyes and a fluffy owlet. Each has one bird, thick outlines and big spaces to fill.
Why are flamingos pink?
Flamingos get their pink colour from the algae and tiny shrimp they eat. Chicks hatch grey and turn pink over their first few years, so a flamingo page can be any shade from pale to bright pink.
How can I use these pages for a bird-watching lesson?
Print the robin, cardinal, duck and owl pages, colour them using photos as a guide, then look out for the same birds in the playground or a local park.
Can I print on A4 paper?
Yes. Every page has a Letter and an A4 version. Pick the one that matches your printer.
