Which rainbow pages suit toddlers?

Use the "Easy" filter for the 3 easy pages. They include a rainbow arch resting on two clouds, a rainbow with falling raindrops and a letter R with a rainbow and a rooster, all with thick outlines and wide bands.

Why is a rainbow curved?

Each colour reaches your eye from raindrops at the same angle, roughly 40 to 42 degrees from the point directly opposite the sun. Those drops form a circle around that point, and the ground hides the lower part, so you see an arch.

What is a double rainbow?

A second, fainter bow sometimes appears outside the first, made by light reflecting twice inside each raindrop. Its colours run in reverse, with red on the inside, so children can colour the two arches as mirror images.
