Easy Food coloring pages
95 free printable pages, from our food coloring pages collection. Every page downloads as a crisp PDF in Letter or A4. Updated October 13, 2026.
About these pages
Big fruit and vegetables with thick outlines, most with a word or capital label. Fruit includes a peeled banana, a pair of cherries, a bunch of grapes, a kiwi whole and halved, a spiky jackfruit with a cut wedge and a smiling pineapple with big eyes. Vegetable pages show a leafy carrot, a head of broccoli, a long eggplant, a radish with its leaves, three potatoes and a whole garlic bulb. Alphabet cards pair a letter with a food, such as A for avocado.
All 95 pages are easy, for toddlers and preschoolers aged two to four. The shapes are big enough for a fist grip, so chunky crayons work well, and the labels let you say the word together as your child colours. Many foods appear twice with different labels, so a child can colour the same apple again a week later. For more, see the fruit pages, the vegetable pages and the food pages.
Each design is its own page with a Letter and an A4 PDF, a description, and related pages, so you can print one sheet or a whole set.
Questions
How can these pages help with first words?
Each picture sits beside its name, so children link the shape, the colour and the printed word. Point to the label, say the word and its first sound, then let your child colour. The letter cards add an early alphabet link.
Are eggplant and aubergine the same thing?
Yes. Eggplant is the American name and aubergine the British one for the same purple vegetable. The pages use eggplant, so you can teach both words while your child colours it deep purple with a green cap.
Which pages should a two-year-old start with?
Start with one round shape and little inside detail, such as the round orange, the round tomato or the big apple with outline letters. Pages with several pieces, like the grapes or the three potatoes, suit children who already colour a little.
Can I print on A4 paper?
Yes. Every page has a Letter and an A4 version. Pick the one that matches your printer.
