Colouring ideas

Colour the big pointed leaves in rich reds, using a deeper red on the outer layer and a brighter red near the centre. Make the small buds in the middle yellow and green, and add touches of dark green on the back leaves.

Did you know?

The red parts of a poinsettia are not petals but special leaves called bracts.

Try this

Try a white or pink poinsettia instead of red, as these colours grow in real life too.
