How to Color Online for Free (Phone, Tablet or Computer)
To colour online for free, open any coloring page on coloringpark.com and press Color it online, or pick a page on the colour online page, then tap a shape to fill it. It works in the web browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with no app, account or download, and your colourings stay on your own device.
How do I start coloring online?
Every one of the 3,785 pages on the site can be coloured on screen. Here is the quickest way in:
- Open a coloring page you like, or go to colour online and start with the Page of the Day.
- Press Color it online. The page opens in the colouring tool.
- Pick a colour from the palette.
- Tap or click any shape to fill it with that colour.
- Switch to the brush for freehand colouring, and use Undo if something goes wrong.
- When you are done, press Finish to save, print or share your picture.
What can the online coloring tool do?
The tool is simple enough for a young child but has enough in it for older colourists:
- Fill: tap a shape and it fills right up to the lines.
- Brush and eraser in three sizes. Turn on Stay inside the lines and they keep to the shape where you started.
- Effects: plain, stripes, dots, stars, hearts, rainbow and glitter.
- Palettes matched to each theme, and you can switch to another palette at any time.
- Zoom with a pinch on touch screens or the mouse wheel on a computer, and use Move to get around a zoomed-in page.
- Undo, Redo and Start over.
- By number, which turns pages with big enough shapes into colour by number, with a colour key and named colours.
Can toddlers color online?
Yes. Press Little hands at the top of the tool. It switches to fill only, with ten big colour buttons, so a toddler can tap a colour, tap a shape and see it fill without brushes or menus getting in the way.
Pair it with Easy coloring pages, which have very thick lines and one big shape. Sit with your child for the first few goes, and keep sessions short.
Where are my online colourings saved?
Your colourings are kept in your browser on the device you used, under My colourings. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account, so you can close a page and come back to it later on the same device and browser.
Because they live on that device, they will not appear on another phone or computer. Clearing your browser's site data can remove them, so save a picture of anything you want to keep.
How do I save, print or share a coloured page?
Press Finish. You can type a name (it stays on your device) and choose whether to add "Coloured by" with today's date. Then choose what to do:
- Save picture downloads your colouring as a PNG image.
- Print sends it to your printer.
- Share opens your device's share menu, so you can send it by message or email.
- Make it into a greeting card to print and fold in half, three bookmarks to cut out, or a Colouring Star certificate.
- Watch replay plays a timelapse of your colouring, and Save video keeps it as a video file.
If you would rather colour on paper, every page also has a Print now button and a vector PDF in US Letter and A4. See how to print coloring pages.
Is there a new page to colour online every day?
Yes. The colour online page has a Page of the Day, and a week calendar of pages. It makes a handy daily habit when you do not want to choose.
