Colouring ideas

Use short brown and grey pencil strokes along the spines so they look prickly, keep the face a soft cream, and colour the leaves in oranges and golds.

Did you know?

Hedgehogs eat beetles, worms and slugs. In autumn they eat as much as they can, then curl up in a nest of leaves to sleep through winter.

Try this

Ask what a hedgehog does when it is scared, then curl up into a tight ball together.
