Colouring ideas

Use rich reds, golds and blues for the saddle blanket and bridle, and keep the horse a single colour such as chestnut so the patterns stand out.

Did you know?

A saddle sits on the horse's back for the rider, and the bridle goes over its head so the rider can steer with the reins.

Try this

Pick two colours that look good together and alternate them along the fringe and bands of the blanket.
