Colouring ideas

Make Sonic bright blue with a peach belly and muzzle and red strapped sneakers. Colour every other square of the flag black so it becomes a real checkered racing flag, and the pole brown or grey.

Did you know?

A black-and-white checkered flag is waved at motor races to show the winner has crossed the finish line.

Try this

Count the squares on the flag and colour them in a checkerboard pattern without missing one.
