Colouring ideas

Colour the leafy canopy in two or three greens, make the trunk brown, and draw a picture or a few lines on the open pages of the book.

Did you know?

Trees give shade because their leaves block sunlight, which is why a spot under a tree can feel much cooler on a hot day.

Try this

Ask your child what story the girl might be reading and let them tell you their favourite book.
